Please email info@oakhillasd.com for a link to the support worker application form on Google Forms, if you are interested in working as a one-to-one support worker at Oak Hill ASD childcare.

Many of the children using the facility will require one to one support, so we need a lot of highly motivated, hard-working individuals with patience and commitment to help us and our children. If you have experience working with children with ASD, you know that, while it may at times be challenging, it will also be very rewarding.

Successful candidates will have a permanent, flexible contract and we will work with you when setting the rota for the school summer holidays so you can work as much or as little as you want based on the number of children booked in.

This is a great opportunity for people who are looking for experience in childcare and ASD.

Our ideal colleagues will be responsible, creative, energetic and passionate about caring for children. They will have a solid understanding of autism, how it affects people and strategies to help them (e.g. TEACCH). Experience working with children with ASD would be a huge advantage, as would playworker qualifications.

Good time management skills, as well as excellent oral and communicational skills, are essential for all applicants.
